Currently serving as co-founder of the League of Extraordinary Gamers (LXG) located in Bangalore, India, Fabian Samuel oversees the daily operations of the gaming company. More specifically, he recruits and mentors employees, markets franchises in other countries, and creates business plans. A deeply religious individual, Fabian Samuel regularly contributes financially to several religious organizations, one of which is the Church of South India (CSI).
Inaugurated in September, 1947, the CSI is the result of a union of churches of varying traditions: Presbyterian, Congregational, Anglican, Methodist, and Reformed. Today, the CSI has its own service book and communion service, both of which draw upon teachings from several denominations.
In January 2015, the CSI joined with the CMS College in Kottayam to host a conference entitled Climate Change and the Developing World. Foreign dignitaries representing Yemen, Korea, Germany, Scotland, and Australia attended the five-day conference, which featured speakers such as Professor P.J. Kurien. Additionally, Bishop Thomas Oommen, the deputy moderator of the CSI, warned about environmental issues, including the proposed Pamba-Vypar-Achankoil linking project. The event was organized by the CSI Synod Department of Ecological Concerns.
